Hello Shelsea!!
Good day !!
I wanted to share some highlights from Jelena’s play today—she had such a delightful and engaging time!
At the water table, Jelena immersed herself in pretend play by setting up her very own “car wash.” With great enthusiasm, she guided toy cars through the water, scrubbing and rinsing them carefully. She added fun sound effects and described each part of the process, showing creativity and strong storytelling skills.
Later, she explored the sand table, where we enhanced the experience by adding seashells. This addition encouraged cognitive development as Jelena closely observed the shapes, sizes, and textures of the shells, comparing and sorting them with curiosity. She used all five senses during her exploration—feeling the fine grains of sand, watching how it moved through her fingers, listening to the gentle sounds it made, and even noticing how the color changed when the sand was wet.
Jelena was fully engaged, asking thoughtful questions and making wonderful observations throughout her play. It was a beautiful day of sensory exploration and learning!
